As Valentine’s Day nears, mainstream culture often confines the idea of #love to heart-shaped chocolates and trendy gifts desinged to sell and consume more, rather than truly opening our hearts. But, love is so much more...!
In 2016, I established the Global Leadership Academy (GLA) alongside a team of dedicated volunteers and experts the vision of creating a more inclusive, equitable, and compassionate world. We based all our programs on spreading love and peace and developed free programs, such as Speak to Inspire Seminars, TED Talks & Coffee Talks, Earth Day Tree Planting, and more—all intended to uplift, inspire, and empower communities.
In line with our mission at GLA and the centeral theme of Yoga for Leadership program/books, we are excited to announce our annual Pay It Forward Partnership in celebration of the International Day of Peace (September 21). Each year, we choose one mission-driven organization serving underrepresented communities to receive the Yoga for Leadership program at no cost, providing 100% scholarships to participants.
