SYLA Inaugural Leadership Retreat 2026

The SYLA Leadership Retreat will bring together leaders, changemakers, innovators, policymakers, and senior executives from Japan, the U.S., and beyond for a structured, customized, and high-impact program. The retreat is grounded in sister-city principles (people-to-people diplomacy) and the Yoga for Leadership framework (leading with mind, body, & heart). As part of the broader Yokohama Festival —which celebrates 70 years of friendship between San Diego and Yokohama—this multi-day program includes: Rocco's Celebration of Life, Art, & Friendship, Yokohama Festival,  and SYLA Leadership Retreat.

SYLA Leadership Retreat 2026 includes:

• Nature-based reflection and and mind-body practices

• Structured networking circles to foster cross-cultural understanding and strategic collaboration​​

​* SYLA has partnered with Alliant University to host the SYLA Leadership Retreat 2026 at their beautiful San Diego campus. Attendees will earn a Certificate of Completion. Eligible attendees may receive tuition savings on Alliant programs.
